In January 2010, the owner of Rosendal Galerie, Elaine Smith opened the beautiful restaurant, Art & Food. With its somewhat rustic-bohemian, but stylish interior and its homely ambiance, Food & Art promises you an experience like no other. Located in the heart of Durbanville, Art & Food is fast becoming the place where artists, art-lovers and other interesting people meet and eat.

We’re open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week and offer a delicious meal of the day every day. During the cold winter months, we offer a soup buffet with freshly baked bread during lunch time. We have 3 open fireplaces, so it’s ideal for a rainy day.


Met die ideaal om kuns en kultuur in die omgewing te bevorder, is daar ‘n lewendige program vir oud en jonk elke maand. Behalwe vir die bekende skrywers en ander interessante mense wat kom gesels, bied Kos en Kuns kunsklasse, mosaïk-klasse, kooklesse, musiekaande, kunsuitstallings, wynproe-aande en vele meer aan. The venue also lends itself ideally for private functions like birthdays, meetings, year-end functions, kitchen-teas and any other excuse for a laid-back get-together. If you prefer to gather at another venue, we also do catering on request.
